Sweet feed vs Sour corn

I put out some sweet feed last week and haven't been able go check on it. Which one you think is better to use? The sweet feed or the corn?

IV'E HAD MUCH BETTER LUCK WITH CORN THAN WITH SWEET FEED!!! WHEN CORN GETS WET, IT GETS BETTER, SWEET FEED TURNS INTO A SLIMEY MESS!!!

I got 2 buckets out. 1 with sour corn and 1 with cheap dollar stor dog food. Every week I fill up the bucket with dog food and if they ever eat all the corn ill fill it up as well.

That red bag of dollar general dog food is hard to beat! I've started using some cheap stuff from tractor supply. Its called bad doggy. Works pretty good. I can't feed corn or sweet feed cause turkey season. Be hunting over bait.

How much is that dog food from tractor supply...cheapest I found was around $14 bucks...so that means I'f a man has 5 feeders and fills them twice a month he's spending 140 a month in just coon feed

Posted by GA DAWG on 03-17-2012 09:59 PM:

Its 14 something to and only 40lbs but I can fill up 4 kitty litter buckets with it a week. What you feeding for 14? Is it 50lb?

You can save alot of money if you get ya one of them coon dogs to get out and hunt for them coon but that might put too much stress on those hot nosed dogs.
