Is there anyone one on this board that knows turtle man from the tv show. Is he always that crazy or on tv.

the problem with "reality tv" is most of it is faked. American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Moonshiners, Operation Repo, Billy the Exterminator, Oddities, Jersey Shore, etc.

There's no doubt most of Turtle Man is staged. He may be a great guy but personally I can't stand him.

I read an article in local newspaper about the show moonshiners, The producers of the show were supposed to put one of those disclaimers on about it being a re-enactment and didn't and the law enforcement agencies involved were pissed about being portrayed as the real thing. its all like pro-wrestling entertainment.

Have any of you seen any of the new game warden shows on its either on discovery or nat geo can't remeber which, what a joke!

He is a born entertainer, his face and personality is all lit up when he has an audience. He might come across as simple in some ways but people seem to enjoy being around him mud and all. I think he started out doing this for his own fun but folks began to watch him and he got to be known for grabbing snappers out of farm ponds. You have to ask yourself is there really a need to de-snapper a farm pond? I have watched him on videos rooting around in cattle ponds that I wouldn't want to walk into but there is a crowd up watching him go at it and him giving a war cry when he gets one by the tail. If you ask me, and you didn't, I would rather pay him to entertain at a family reunion than to hire some creepy clown dude. You got to hand it to him, he is earning a living doing something that few other folks are doing then he had the sense to let it be video'd and turned into a show. I just hope he is putting his earnings into solid investments because entertainment income can be here today and gone tomorrow.

Like the show or not it is cool to see him doing what he does on the show my 8 year old gr.daughter love the show she never miss it

Turtle Man

Hey did anyone see him cautch the urban coyote with a short stick and his hands ? Wild action baby he could get rich on urban coyotes alone . Also the other guy calling himself the HOG man and his camo dressed up female helper . The first show i thought he was just plain weird , but now im thinking this guy nows how to cautch almost all animals . He is gonna get rich soon , i hope for his sake money won't ruin him . Be funny if he gets a emmy award , for his role in the turtle man . WILD ACTION BABY
