This is Gus a 3 month old puppy out of Hickory and treeing on a drag.

That 7 month old puppy from Indiana, is now just a year old and came within a couple minutes of winning her first hunt, in her first hunt.

In her first cast, she got off by herself every single drop, and treed the only two coon we saw that night. The problem is that she took a first and first minus on a split tree where there was a dead tree leaning against her tree, and we couldn't find the coon. It was a mistake, but one I would easily forgive in a 12 month old on a cold winter's night. She almost recovered with a first and a first on another coon in the last drop, but treed it just over a minute past the 120. BTW... there was only 5 minutes on the clock, when we cut them loose!

I din't come home with the hardware, but I was plenty proud of her! She's not a first strike dog, but if she's treed with another dog it's purely by coincidence, becasue I've seen her split just 20-50 away (with the meat) on multiple occasions.

I just wanted to upload a picture and video of my Hickory pup. PR Slo Motion Hickory Isabelle She is off of Hickory pride and one of Mr. Grimes females Grimes Jodi. I will have to say this was a good proven cross and i spoke with him last week and he said he is going to make this cross again at the end of the year so GET THEM WHILE YOU CAN. I know i prob. will be getting a male off this litter. My dog is 16 months now and she has been treeing coons BY HERSELF since she was 7 months she is a very Independent dog. She will Split with other dogs but she is the one that ends up having the meat. She is a very Loud on the trail and when she blows up on the tree shes locked down and has the meat.

Also here is a video from tonight she went 3-4, Saw 3 coons and had 1 Den. Not too bad for a night of hunting during the rut. (sorry its not the best video i tryed to get the coon on it but i couldnt pick it up with my phone)

Are you guys going to make it up, for the Oaks? I'll have Color there on Friday night.

Team Red Eagle

I am hunting two Red Eagle females for Henry and he send me a nice female . THESE DOGS WILL GO HUNTING, GET STRUCK AND RUN THAT TRACK AND TREE. I took this coming on 2y/o or younger female last night by herself, so as I cut her she takes off like a missile. She went about 700yards and was out there for about 25 mins hunting. I check her on the Garmin map and in 700 yards he had over 1.53miles over track in that 700yard range and she bark one times and did a good long bawl and swam across and small canal- creek a push that coon to the big river and that river was so big she couldn't cross. So I got her and drove around the river and turn her loose again and she took off like a missile again and went pick that coon track up and she did one long bawl and she got quiet and did some short bawls and got quiet and located(LORD KNOWS IT SOUND GOOD) and went to blow the bottom out, AND SHE WAS UNDER THE MEAT. I'm looking forward to hunt this 8 month old female and I hear she spilt tree'd. I turn her loose around the house and she went 600yards thru deer, and possums and never struck a track. BUT IF U WNT A TRACK DOG THAT CAN RUN A TRACK RED EAGLE IS THE LINE TO GO TO.

Hickory is producing

I have one off Hickory and a pup off Yakin River Cruise. She 5 months old running a track and treeing with the old dogs. LOUD MOUTH PUP. Runs a track like a run away train and at the tree with dogs popping like a jackhammer.

Finally made the time to campaign Color... I hit 4 hunts this Summer, and walked away with 4 Best of Show and 3 First Places!!!

I finished her to CH and NTCH, in time to move here to North Carolina, and work on making GRNT this Fall.
