Teblow....

He sucks should have been culled years ago. Hes like a dog that hunts its butt off but has no talent... John Fox is a slick handler (like some that come to the big hunts), Tebow drew some poor competetion in his casts (Minnesota, Chicago, Oakland, Miami). Then a few of his big comebacks were more like handlers gone bad (Miami, forgot to put in the Goalline D with Tebow on the 2, Chicago, forgot to stay in bounds with 2 minutes on the clock. I mean get real if I had a dog like Tebow, I would have culled it when it proved it had no talent.... Not to mention his field goal kicker saved his A$$ in 4 of his 7 wins.

Just My Humble Opinion.

tebow

no 1st year starters have done better.
brees was a joke.
brady wasn't even a qtr. back when he entered nfl.he was from bo's old school at u-of-m...run,run,run.took him a few years to get going.
how long was elway at denver before they won? years.
steve young...years.

give the kid sometime.just like all the rest have needed to adjust.he'll be better than the "average" qtr. backs out there.
you won't hear of him in night clubs fighting or packing guns, fighting dogs, beating his wife.,dui,drugs,etc...

he's the kind pro athlete you want your kids to look up to.

I'm wondering why everybody is on a (let's dog Teebow Banwagon)???? I've watched him play for the past 4 years. He's doing a H*** of a job to me. Look at his Stats from last year, and then look at his stats from this year. Teebow will only get better year after year in the nfl.

The reason he is always attacked is becaulse he's a commited Christain, if he was a player that run's around and partys all the time he would be a role model,
How about the great Michal Vick? you dont heare anything about him becaulse he's such an outstanding guy! great role model he is.

Posted by tdug06 on 01-02-2012 06:44 PM:

Im not attacking Tewbow

Not attacking Tebow or his religion, I am merely stating that he has no future as a NFL QB... And oh by the way Josh Freeman also has better rookie numbers. I am just tried of eveyone saying how GREAT TEBOW is when the real truth is hes not great heck hes not even good. Denvers D and their kicker won 5 of the 7 games. All I am saying is everyone who is on the Tebow wagon will be dissapointed when he gets bench next season or traded or released if he makes it that long..

For someone that so many people think is a bad NFL QB those same people sure give him a lot of attention.

A great role model for kids who is very religous and not afraid to hide his beliefs and so many people try to run him down. I guess they figure if they run Tebow off thier kids can go back to idolizing people like Roethlisberger, Vick, or Burress.

teebow

Chiggers that video shows why Teebow is more of a leader/and has more heart than anybody i can think of in the NFL.. IF you go back to 2007 Tim Teebow's Sophomore Year. He won the Heisman that year, had 234 Cmp, out of 350 Att, 3286 yards (which was more than any qb in the ncaa had that year) 32 tds and only threw 6 interceptions out of those 234 passes. Colt Brennan threw what 100 more passes??? and threw 17 interceptions that year... Teebow has worked hard to get where he has. and just because he's not ashamed to show his religion, does not give everybody a reason to down him..

Religion has nothing to do with it. He is not a very good quarterback, and its that simple. He got lucky and when they have faced anyone with a offence... well we seen how that worked out. They are ranked last I believe in passing yards although they have one heck of a run game due in part to Tebow. Their defense although is not ranked really high they seem to come up big when needed. Fluke last part of season, if Raiders would of not lost Campbell no one would be talking about Tebow anyways because they would of ran away with that divsion.

Tebow

Don't know if he will ever win a Superbowl, But he is an athletic role model that i want my kids watching. Unfortunately have been a lifelong cowboy fan, but have always been a Tebow fan also.
An Army of Tim Tebows could change the world.

wait just a minute... First of all Brady played under Lloyd Carr not Bo.

Second of all what do you mean he wasn't a quarterback when he entered the NFL?

In his two years starting for his high school Varsity team from 1993-1994 he completed 219 passes for 3,514 yards and 33 touchdowns.

He set a new Michigan record for most pass attempts and completions in a season with 214!!!

He finished his career in the Michigan record books with 443 completions on 711 attempts for 5351 yards, 35 touchdowns.

He also led Michigan to a win in the Orange Bowl over Alabama, throwing for 369 yards and four touchdowns.

I do agree with you on Tebow. I think he's doing a great job for a first year starter.

it would have been a different year if half our team and our coach wasnt lost because of free tatoos. i dont care, that crap goes on at EVERY major college.

wv is a powerhouse too huh? just sour grapes buddy. give it 2 years and meyer will have the best program out there. theres already talk of him bringing major players out of the south. in 2-3 years all of the Ohio State haters will really have something to complain about. all we needed was a real coach and we have it now fellows so be ready.

Posted by prostockpat on 01-04-2012 02:01 PM:

yes...

but it will be because of urban meyer...not ohio state.

michigan would still be a power house IF they had not fired gary moelller for getting into a argument with his wife in a restaraunt.no violence, just a argument!!

Posted by RHK on 01-04-2012 02:30 PM:

i agree. ohio does have decent talent, but not like florida and some of the southern states.thats why what he brings to the table is so important. michigan has a few players from ohio and vice-versa. i know people in ohio liked jim tressel but i was fed up with that guy, his offense ate it and so did jim bollman the o.c.

these guys are getting out of control with the regulations. what they do to some of these schools is b.s. if you want to be a football coach your backround has to be cleaner than the presidents and you have to conduct yourself like a monk. as well as managing 70 other peoples lives. i say it stinks

coulda, woulda, shoulda...

A guy in a bar leans over to the guy next to him and says, “Wanna hear a Buckeye joke?” The guy replies, “Well, before you tell that joke, you should know something. I am 6′ tall, 200 lbs. and I played football for Ohio State. The guy sitting next to me is 6’2″, 225 lbs., and he played football for Ohio State. The guy right next to him is 6’5″, 250lbs., and he has a PHD from Ohio State. Now, you still wanna tell me that joke?” The first guy says, “No, not if I’m going to have to explain it three times.”

GO BLUE!

I'll admit Michigan was pretty bad for 4 years but they looked good this year! Of course I'm sure you know in the overall series Michigan leads, 58–43 so if you won every game it would still take FIFTEEN YEARS to even the score and we both know that's not going to happen. Michigan still has the longest win streak too, 9 YEARS!

Two Ohio State football players were hootin’ and hollerin’ while partying on campus when a bartender asked them why they were celebrating. The smart one said proudly that they had just finished a jigsaw puzzle and it only took them two months. “Two months?!” exclaimed the bartender. The Buckeye proudly replied, “Yeah, the box said 4 – 6 years!”

all in good fun - GO BLUE!
