i raised and owned halls dixie to the day she died hands down best jump dog ive owned or proably ever will not many of you all seen her run because i ran her when in was in high school she won almost everything she was put in wv state hunt eleminator and thebenifit hunts anyway i got her from a guy in up state p.a. she was akc only and back then papers didnt matter i lost them and just had her single registered i guess that was stupid but then again i was just 16. hope this helps she has produced a national champion 4 pedigree or black gold series winners a mcvay memorial winner and over 20 state champions and she only had 3 litter of pups

biggest regret was not granding her she won over 15 champion cast and had 4 firsts and then i just started running her pups her and jake threw big fast hard hunt hounds that are still passing along her and jakes genes

its amazing i kept her fed her and ran her 3 days a week solo and then on weekends traveled out of state and won the over all in the black gold series for a guy and paid the entries and the gas and you know i didnt even get a pup out of her or any of the prizes she won along the way amazing huh!!! she was one the best hounds i ever handled! but she had to be ran solo all week to do it or she would be to crazy in a pack o well i guess you live and learn!! id just love to have her sister that they have or even a pup

good question casue matt i found her behind south harrison high school in 1997 she was caught in a fence during football practice i then checked around and found out that she was staying at a neighbors house but she had came in there running one day and wasnt his but stayed there. i took her home on the back of my 1982 toyota flatbed truck tied in with my orange football belt i was 16. later on i had a guy see her and said his friend lost a dog down around this area and after a few phone calls i found him. we made a deal for me to keep her since i took care of her and i didnt even care about the paper a year later i went running withdale prunty and he said i should enter her in a hunt so i single regestered her at the tricounty club and placed 5th that day at the time the club was off of rt 50 on marshville road. so i think i remember pretty well where she came from!! i can give more detail if i need like how before i brought her home i actually would take her into my school with me for english class and then she would stay in the field house with me during football she actually would come in the huddle with me!! so if i need more detail ill get it sorry matt i kinda forgot where she came from!! hahahahahahah

Don't wory about people that don't know what thay are talking about. Do you rembrember when we skiped class a and run her behind the baseball field. That was the good old days. One of the best dogs I have seen run.

what's fishy, is the fact that this is your second post ever. More than likely you have never had a good hound in your life. Or at least one worth mentioning. I had sent you an email thinking you would stop trying to start trouble. Ben is one of the most honest and nice guys I have ever met before. I've hunted against Dixie a time or two. If my memory serves me right ben, ole hackbar came out on top. Lol.
So "rabieshot" unless you can post your real name. Why not just stay off here, go run your hounds. Or better yet get ahold of Ben, mitch, or chris and buy a hound worth something.

i did run one time with dixie against hackbar she was did get beat she was getting older and hackbar was really a nice hound. i ran against him several times. mike you have always had awesome hounds remember all those trips to virginia!! ahhaha thanks for the kind words. cant wait to see you again man keep up the good work and God will continue to bless you guys!!!! i need to call mitch and get a good dog! ahhaha i have a brother to yours he is 10 months old and doing good.

i might just do that i run him about 3 days a week solo usually he has only seen another dog 1 time. ya know the greatest thing about dixie was her and jakes pups and they are still helping the sport mike we will talk soon and hopefully get together i am filling in at my church for the next 2 weeks for our pastor. im really excited! i get to preach 4 straight services.

thanks a lot i was blessed to go speak at a church camp a few weeks ago we had 6 teens saved thats better than any first line or strike. a lot of things have changed for both of us since we last really hung out and all for the good.
