WHO SHOULD WE BLAME
Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered? If both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered? If all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? John Boehner. He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it's because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ...

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people and they alone, are responsible

that right there just piss me off im 61 yrs old got sick had to go on disabilty i have worked all my life i cant even get any type of medical card they say i get to much money i get 1400 dollars a month the people that never worked they get a check and a medical card thats our state and federal gov jmo

Why does it call for a celebration when one that is in gets kicked out on his A--? I can only imagine to feel his pain and laugh. I know we probably put a worser one in there smetimes but it is still a celebration. At least this new seed might grow to do right. No hope for the ousted one , he has done proved himself.

At almost 100 years old we were having a problem with the Corps and the USFWS. Strom Thurmond managed to leap clean up on top of his desk and say he had created a monster he had no control of. I think he was right, but it WAS in most part his fault.

You mentioned John Baerner, Rep. Speaker of the House. Did you post propaganda here expecting everyone to wear emotions on their sleeves ? There is Also Nancy pilosi , Dem Senate Majority Leader and The other Senatorial Idiot calling the budget proposal a COMPROMISE. Would you compromise with a group that wants to rape a daughter on Friday night and Staturday night but you work out a compromise that she only gets raped on Friday night and expect addulations for a job well done? Compromise , my everloving ass. And, none other than our favoriot, Barack O bammer, President. Dem. Just checking for sly, gut wrenching, propaganda is all. LOL.

In my opinion, it is OBAMA AND HIS SOCIALIST AGENDA. His free spending (like above link) and all the handouts, food stamps, etc., to the dead beats has run our deficit out of control. Obama had a majority senate and congress for the 1st 2 years he has been in office. Now, he wants to even spend bigger and the present congress (Republican majority) won't let him. He blames them for not getting anything done. Our Country can not keep on giving handouts to the ones that have no ambition to work and help themselves. Exactly! America deserves the congress it has and the president it has because America voted them in and blindly keeps re-voting most of them back in.

Any candidate that campaigns on certain points and doesn't follow through on them should get an "F" (FAILURE!) and get replaced.

Go ahead and vote your big business president in, I cant wait to look up some of you people on this board when the working class suffers again. If it wasn't for Obama we would have lost one of the cornerstones of this nation in regards to the auto industry, which would have accounted for 100,000's of jobs across the nation. Obama wants to make healthcare available for everyone, so that makes him a socialist. I have no problem paying taxes to help the indigent and to help this nation move forward.

All Romney needs is 4 good years to get him/his buddies wallets shored up again, then they all can sit back with their feet in the sand and watch the next present come in and clean the mess up. Sorry, but I don't trust any man that don't have the intestinal fortitude to bank his money in the same nation that he wants to lead!!!

Thats funny I just hired 4 union flooring guys to refinish the gym floor in the prison I work at. All were from different states, and said they can't get to the next job quick enough.

the only one to blame is all of us. it comes from people thinking there richer they they are. run up all those credit cards then not pay them back, where do you think the credit card companys get there money from when you dont pay it back. they right it off as a loss and get a big old tax credit so in turn you paying it back any how just in a differnt way. but thats only one small reason why this contrys in the shape its in.as far as food stamps and all that other crap like that we voted for the people that pass all those bills and rules. i dont like the president that we have now but america put him there so i guess we are the ones to blam for letting him in there. jmo.

I'm pretty sure you can find a 100 bucks in savings around the house. I probablly spend that much in dog feed and gas, hunting my dogs a month. I spend 4.00 bucks a day on chew (120.00). You can find savings, you don't need my hundred bucks.
