175 to 225 #. his ears are almost half as long as his face and longer than his foot is wide. a big bear will look like he has very small ears. this one looks like he has mule ears.

after looking at some bears on nature program this week i think he is smaller than i thought 75 to 125 #

a bear's ears do not grow much after one year.

I took it down cuz I now understand what you were saying about ear size and such, I was just using it for a example of big bears w/long ears and felt it might be taken away from the gents original post maybe.
