I would have to say Owen Arnolds ol Chip hound never ran against him in a hunt but ran with him a few times in his older years WHAT A HOUND !!!!!!

white river big jake the dog could and would jump every rabbit in the area and when running took control of any pack he ran just as hard solo as he did with company!! smooth and fast!

ive watched hackbar go in ky at the state hunt years ago he was running against white river beau of touchstone.me and mitch was there running my dixie dog and cane....we wont ever forget that winners pack with dixie....lol ive heard really great things about petey!!i know his momma is a good one.

All the Micheal X LuLu dogs stand out as being dominate. I drew Multiflora falcon Lou once and she was tough that day. Early on I liked the Mt State Smokey and Lone Mt. Tadpole battles, those were two real rabbit dogs!

I thought Tom Youngs Hare chaseing Arrow dog did a great job. Tom Gunters Dixie bitch was by far one of the best .Total dog......

I will second what Kevin said with Singit. I also think that our old Daisy female, and Jasons Issy bitch are at the top. Ted's old Susie female was a good one too. As far as males go Beau was as good as they come week in and week out. There was also a male up here named Dolph's Rooster Cagburn. That dog was a bada**. He won alot of hunts up here and placed at some big ones at a young age before he was hit by car while running.

Scotty Gilberts Windstorm and Taylor's Black Magic Ace both came to mind after I posted. I judged those two in the same cast as a non hunting judge in the first ever eliminator, they were great.

I would say jake. He lost 2 cast when we ran him. That made him have a 98% winning average and my tara dog is he best jump dog I have ever been in the woods with.

A few dogs come to mind. Dailey's Maple River Levi, Dirty Dan Bow, Scotty's Gilbert Windstorm, Swampmasters Singit Girl, Dailey's Abbey and one of the nicest males I ever saw go was a dog called Tappendon's Luke owned by Pat Tappendon in Michigan. Pat didn't run UKC very long but that was one tough hound. I am sure Roy Swafford knows what I am talking about. These dogs were from the early years of UKC but they were some dandy's

I'm with ya matt it never gets old talking about the great ones, and yes i know a thing or two about tappenden's luke and hank. Luke ran up was as nice as i have ever walked behind. Sure am glad Chubby can't read LOL
