moose dogs

Just getting into hunting what can u tell me about Moose dogs.

DILLER DOGS

Wipeout dogs are known for their tracking abilities, and their hard and wide hunting styles. They are notorious for being alone with a coon when nothing else can get one going. They are winning in every registry all over the country in every kind of terrain in the United States.

Some people say Moose dogs were a little tighter on the ground than the rest of the WO dogs. I raised one of the last litters off ole Moose, and my gyp was an open trailer and hard tree dog. The pups from that litter vaired. Some were tight on track, some were open trailers, some were hard tree dogs, and 1 was silent on track but an EXTREME tree dog. There was also a bawl mouth tree dog that came from that litter, and where that came from I will never know.

I have hunted with and owned WO dogs from all the "bigger" WO sires crossed on just about every line of TW out there. I love the WO line, and think Mr. Barry Kiddy did us all a HUGE favor when he bred ole Candy to King Coma.

There was a post a while back on PKC of the WO Hall of Famer's. There were 2 WO dogs admitted this year being the original Zeb dog (Moose's sire), and Carolina Peaches (Moose's daughter). There is 5 generations running in the HOF-Flatrock Shena, Flatrock Coma, Zeb, Moose, and Peaches. Congrats to all the guys involved who stood behind these WO dogs, and a special thanks to Mr. Kiddy for not only hunting what he breeds, but breeding what he hunts!!!

I just picked up a 2 year old gyp out of the moose dog. Her mother won the world hunt 2 years or so ago from a Mister Premaeux out of La. I got her on trial, looking for something for my son to go to the youth hunts in our area.

And by the way, I agree with you 100%, I have 4 dogs in my kennel and 3 of the 4 have Wipeout blood in their veins!

I own part of Chopper. He is a coondog in any mans eyes . he goes 17+ trees in a row with coons before he makes a den or a circle and then does it again. That is in west fl where dogs have to hunt a mile to find a coon in blowed down hurricane timber.

I hunt with Clayton alot also. He has them eyes looking down when u get to him.

What is claytons bottom ped? And I know he is a lower end strike dog, so are his pups also? I know he doesn't have a ton old enough but I'm guessing has a few

Yeah I found his ped, thanks. How about wipeout willie I've seen some out of him in the winners circle, but he should have a descent amount of pups by now? Or maybe one that doesn't get as much attention cabo wabo?

BUT WIPEOUT DOGS ARE " NOT " FOR EVERYONE. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A DOG THAT JUST MAKES TREES OR WHEN A TRACK GETS BAD JUST MAKE A TREE, THEN WIPEOUT DOGS ARE NOT FOR YOU. IF U WANT ONE THAT WILL RUN A TRACK TO CATCH OR SKIP THRU THE COUNTRY ALONE AN TREE ONE OR MY FAVORITE JUST FALL TREED WITH A COON THEN WIPEOUT DOGS ARE FOR YOU.
