X-Large Walkers?

What Walker stud / bloodlines are throwing extra large pups,60 + in the females and 80 + in the males in hunting shape?

Shelton's Hammer #3 last year at the World was Around 94 lbs
and 27-1/2 Tall

I Bred Our "Queen KONG" 96 lbs 27-1/2" tall (out of Wondo River KONG 100 lbs) to Shelton's Hammer.

She has 3 weeks to go and She now weighs 104 lbs and her Girth at the moment is 35-1/2" ..

Should Be some Triple XXX Large Pups !!!!!!

"Big D" Also !!

Funny How Theses Very Large Heavy Hounds Found Their Way to the Final 4 ..

If You Build Them Right theirs No Difference In large or Small Frames If The Abillity is Their

Had one out of Comas Stylish Legend that was 84 pounds at 14 months old. Never put him on a scale as he got older. Huge mouth, got through the country in a strait line and got tree'd. Over all nice dog.

how old is Legend now?

I keep thinking that I'd like to get something out of him.

Never ask a man what kind of dog he has. If he has a hound he'll tell you, if he does not, you don't want to shame him by asking.

An 80 pound dog isnt in hunting shape, unless its 5 feet tall.

I'd have to beg to differ with you, i had one out straight out of Briar Cliff Battle that was right at 80lbs and he got hunted at least 3 nights a week 3 or 4 hours a night. HE was out of a Zipcode female of Mr. Ray Alger's and was a nice young male. I'm not sure if its a Battle trait to throw big dogs or his momma because I've never seen her but when I met Tim Green to pick mine up he had all three males there and all of them were huge puppies. Our male went to the vet at 9 weeks old and weighed 24lbs. I've heard from different people that Battle threw loud dogs and I beleive it because mine had a bawl on track and a long bawl/chop on the tree that sounded like a freight train. He would drown out most dogs at 8 mths old, he was an all around nice hound that started easy and was treeing coons by himself at a little over a year old.

I used to have a male dog out of Nailor several years back,he weighed 92 lbs and was hunted at least three days a week, stood 29" tall at the shoulders, people that hunted with me used to ask me how i got a pony in the dog box when he came out...lol....
Would like to find another big'un to hunt.

If you are looking for a specific line of dogs that are known for throwing extra large Walkers, that would be the Nailor line of dogs.

If they stand upright on their back feet im sure they are 5 feet tall. I pounded mine in the woods, he was run down and would've still pushed 90 pounds.

Forest, Im not sure how old Legend is. I'm guessing around 6.

ps. my 63 lb dog can easily jump up onto the dogbox in the truck from the ground. athleticism and size are in no way related.

Sniper(grand son of Kansas Jr.) is an inch over standard and is a slim, athletic 80lbs. If I would let him lay around for a month he would probably be 90 and still look like he is being hunted.....waddaya think, Forest?

No doubt Randy. Sniper could use a few double cheeseburgers to fill out some. How big is Amos? Think I remember him being a little more stoutly built. Bang too???

I like big dogs too. I really like those 80+ pounders. But that's not the paramount trait that I look for.
