I was wondering if anyone knew of any actors,singers, athletes that also coonhunted.

Luke Bryant - country music singer
I was told a retired NBA player backed the PkC lonestar 5000 but I don't remember a name.

No big deal just wondering

Hank Williams Jr and Hank Williams III.

Hank Jr also hunted big game and promoted some Plotts for awhile. Awhile back someone posted a copy of an ad Hank Jr ran for awhile advertising a stud and some pups or something. I just remember it included the line "I don't make a livin' of these dogs. I make my livin' with a guitar".

I don't know much about Hank 3 but I have a pic of him in full hunting gear handling a nice looking Walker dog.

CATFISH HUNTER

My grand daddy hunted with catfish hunter a lot when he live in hertford NC. It didn't matter back then what breed it was long as it would tree a coon. I only went with his sons a few times after catfish died.

I think Jefferson had BT's..There was a great artical in american cooner a couple of years back about some hollywood actors in the 40's and 50's who hound hunted on a big california ranch that they used to film western movies at. I think it was the man who writes the column about bear and lion hunting out on the west coast...Frank M ???????
