*** Good Start To 2010 Hunting Pics***

Hello every one just wanted to share some photos of mine an my cousins coon dogs! we started the year with 2 den trees on 1-18-10 finally got some time off an went out last night 1-23-10 with some awesome dog work!!!!

Went to up the road to my cousins took out 4 dogs 1 which was a pup. cut em loose hit a track come treed on a den. took a few pics. walked lil more cut again tree 2nd den. didnt take any pics tho.

first den crown an bell on the tree.

Loaded up an headed up to the cousins for a night of riggin! 1-23-10..we started out an struck. cut loose bell an crown was working the traack real good. they spilt up an crown come treed. got to tree an bell wasnt there. so we took few pics knocked ol coon out an went lookin for her. when we found her she was covered in mud from head to toe. think ran other into a hole? not 100% sure.

Found bell went up the road struck. cut loose they ran this one into a hole! gathered em up an went ridin again..
struck turned loose 2nd tree with both dogs there!

On The Hunt Again.

gathered up an again. struck, cut loose sounded good on track. came tree. took some pics. petted them up an headed to the truck to call it a night. have to say pretty good for second time out this winter!!

Saturday night

One tree 2 coons got back two the truck and headed off the hill and wheel bearing went out so the night ended early

Megan, give me a few more weeks down here. and ill send him up and let u an eric get them titles!!... Yadkin man Ima take it you own his mother? if so that was one Helluva Cross!..... Tj and joel looks like yall are havin as much fun in ky as we are in va!.... i would love to be able to travel around and just coon hunt to get away!....

that exciting of a night. My garmin collar came off my dog and We had to walk towards it to where ever it came off belle and I dunno must not have had it tight enough. bout never find it.

If he can tree coons here in our 4,500 ft mountains he can tree them all day and all night up there. trust me Our rutting coons in the winter here run like bears. start at the bottom of the mountain cross the top and tree on the back side. Crown would have a field day and title fast up yonder!

all i know is crown is makin a helluva dog. haha wish i would have had his whole litter to make bear dogs. id say there wouldnt be a bear get away. them ol blue dogs lay down an trail ill give em that but them walkers show you the meat FAST!! lol

im not downin them ol blue dogs but its goin to have to take 1 HELLUVA bluetick to get added to my pack of walkers an plotts!!!

And for this line of walkers, i will have to say they have plenty of grit to grab ahold of a mean bear an put him on a limb.. they have plenty of brains, tons of heart, and alot of drive. built to fly. with looks to go along..

before you got crown I think a good bit before you got him. We just had Belle tha night I think. you might have had crown and he wasn't in the picture but I don't think you had him yet. We were walking thur the Robertson Place and she struck and ran it from the bottom of tarr hill mnt and it went almost 3/4 to top of it before she treed...and that was just early fall......remember????It was a long pull up over there and we had to wait on doodle a good bit ha. he's a good buddy atleast he gets out and goes with us. some boys that big wouldn't even get outta the truck ya know.
