Top Quality Leather Collars?
are there any folks out there that make and/or sell top quality leather collars? I ordered a couple from Nite Lite, the collars are not that good, adn the name tags are JUNK, the first one they actually cut off half my name from getting the spacing on the tag wrong. I ordered another one, and told them that the tag was messed up, they suggested I go with 3 lines if I want it spaced right. Talk about SORRY customer service. But I did order a tag with three lines, and the spacing was still WAY off. Anyway, Nite Lite sucks and I am looking for somewhere else to get collars....any help?

I've ordered collars and leads a few times from this guy , he does the real thing and will work with you to get it right .
The rolled collars are the best , replace the brass rings with stainless steel and they just won't wear out the collar .
$80 bucks for a freaking collar??? Can I get a hell NO

I gave $45 for my collars and $75 for some leads ... they are worth it .
All the commercial stuff is gonna be junk , I've ordered plenty and never been impressed.
The next best thing to master's pride type work ... is to find a a dealer for Amish leather work ... it's gonna be three times the quality for only twice the price.

I can't say much about name tags; but you can usually get tags made at any of the larger hunts, and I don't think there is much difference in them. Just my thoughts. Tom

I buy most everything from F&T Fur Harvester's Trading Post. They have great stuff and fair prices. I bought some leather collars that have held up pretty well.

Dont forget to put the S in Masterspride I promise you dont get dog collars website LOL
Back in 2002 I got my Jeff dog to the zones in Marshalltown, Ia and decided he deserved a new collar. One of the vendors had those double thick black brass studded collars that all the vendors still carry today. Jeff is still wearimg that collar, it has never been off him. Not a loose thread on it anywhere. Bought it from the husband and wife vendors from Iowa but all of them carry them.
quote:I like the look of those collars, and the leather in them, but everyone I have had, the thread started coming out at the center ring within a few months, and the studs would start falling out.
