Predator

Junior,I recently got one for a birthday gift.So far,I love it.I'm 53 yrs. old with a wad of hardware in my back.So,the less that I have to wear around my hips,the better.Hope this helps.

how bright are they, ive hunt with a competition 24v and a nite lite 28v they are both real bright and love both of em but man i hate battery packs, from what i was reading on this predator i like it, but man thats a lot of money to hand out for something im not sure about yet

Great to wear and use. In the ball park of a 21 volt light, the spot is very tight and can give the impression of being even brighter. Well made and solid.

but it could be a little brighter just my opinion..

if your going to competition hunt, I would take a spot light, I like mine but find myself wanting to hunt with my Valley Creek and spot light, in the competition hunts.

I got mine at Autumn Oaks but had seen one at National Redbone Days so pretty much knew what to expect. While looking around I bought one of the cordless led spotlights from the Smart Light booth. This setup of the 2 works well for me, eye sight isn't what it use to be. Kinda like shineing with a spot light any way, specially if I'm shineing and shooting. That little yellow Spotlight always comes on in a neutral position and then you have to hold the trigger and adjust it dimmer or brighter. Biggest thing I didn't like about the spotlight is it cost me either 60 or 65 dollars at oaks and my nephew went out and bought one in one of the big stores locally for $40. Only difference I could see was his said Stanley on the side of it.

What's the 'LUX' rating(equivalent of brightness/candlepower). I have a K-light and it's 'Lux' rating is 2800LUX. Good light just not bright enough for me.

Smart light, pd 185.00 no cords hanging from helmet, burn for long time super bright has 2 settings one is high spot, very light

i have had mine since they came out.. never had a problem with it.. and it is as bright as a 21 volt and brighter than my buddies smart light.
