Posted by blacksheep on 06-30-2003 06:46 PM:

how do you vote???

how do you vote?? This new message board is very confusing.

Posted by Redtick on 06-30-2003 09:08 PM:

I am not going to say how many dogs I am feeding because I also have Curs and beagles, but I would bet Pedigree could give an accurate number of how much dog food I am feeding. I am a member of their breeder's program and get an $.08 a pound rebate, so they probably have some sort of records on my rebates.

THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO NEED .08 CENTS OFF A POUND ARE "DOG JOCKEYS" "PERIOD"!!!!

Posted by PWC on 07-01-2003 05:01 AM:

I don't "need" the .08 cents a pound, but I feed Pedigree too, and the rebate check is nice, and while I have no freakin' clue as to why Redtick is speaking in riddles and bringing up dog food brands in this post, your remarks are just silly. I only have 2 coonhounds and am about as far from a dog jockey as it gets, but I ain't turning down "free money" so to speak...

Re: Can I just ask,,,,

the only people who need a rebate are dog jockeys

That is the stupidest thing I have heard yet today and I got up at 4 a.m.!

Purina pays almost all my vet bills with the vet checks they send from the pro club membership and i'm not too proud nor too stupid not to take it.

And the reason it may be "such a secret" for some people to reveal how many dogs they have is to be branded "dog jockeys" based simply on the amount of dogs they own, not how many they produce, the conditions they are kept in, or more important factors.

The grocery store checkout clerks gawk at my purchases - all the generic brand food and cheap cuts of meat, accompanied by the name-brand purina dog food, bought with every kind of rebate check and coupon I can get my hands on.

Come to my house. meet my dogs. See the facilities we have for them (better than what we have for ourselves!). Judge me by the condition of my dogs and facilities, not by the number of them that are here.

Some mornings, I get up and run my Hunting Beagle Champion beagles for a couple of hours, come home and get my Squirrel Champion Curs and tree some squirrels, then go home, take a nap in the afternoon, and then take my Dual Grand Champion coonhounds out for a coonhunt. Eric Mueller and Rusty Johnson do not. Pedigree is the most cost effective way to feed my Champions and the $.08 a pound rebate comes in handy. Eric, there is another littermate to your dog besides Dual Grand Champion PKC Champion "Goody" that is Champion Nite Champion PKC Champion Taz. Just think of how good your dog could have been if you hunted him.

dog food poor

I'm feedimg three, and that's enough for me.one tree year old,and two thirteen month old pups, andi'm feeding about sixty pounds a week.i call them pups, but they are both overe seventy pounds, lack of hunting.

Posted by Christy on 08-04-2003 08:45 PM:

Well, let's see:

20 Dogs all together.

2 Treeing Walkers
1 Black and Tan
5 Walker puppies
1 Mountain Fiest
and......
11 Beagles!!!

Whewwwww! If Purina weren't paying us to feed our dogs their feed, our dogs would probably starve!

NNaaahhh!! Just kidding.
