how does everyone store their dog food?

wondering how other people store their dog food... do you keep it in the bag or dump it into a big garbage can or bin?

ours is in a metal garbage can outside by kennels, so far good luck and haven't lost any

I keep mine in the house. Always have just dont like to put it outside where the weather or rats or bugs could get into it.

we keep ours in 55 gallon plastic drums in the lean to. Never loose any of it.

I go to the appliance dealer & get a little freezer that don't work and use them to set the bags down in. They will usually give them to you and they make good dog food containers. I have a building to put it in so it stays in the dry & mice & other varmits cant get in them.

We keep ours inside in a big old wooden barrell. It holds a hundred lbs of feed, which don't last long around here lol...We have always kept it in there and have done just fine with it...

We keep ours in metal trash cans in our tack room. The lid seals tightly, so nothing is able to get in it.

Dog food storage

This is a pic of my kennel.The room that I incorporated into the kennel has 2 closets in it.I keep my feed in one of the closets inside plastic garbage cans.

I feed allmost 50# per Day But I dump it into a 64 Qt Cooler and it holds 100# of Feed ..

Oh around 17 Big One's and 12 Growing Pups !! Lots of Feed !!

and 15# of Raw Beef on top of that .. If I put all of my Hounds and Pups on a Scale at this Moment they would weigh right around 1800 #s

Keep the deer dogs' feed in metal trash cans in the shop. I keep the bags of food I feed my hounds in the house so rodents or bugs don't get in it, and tote it out to the dogs to feed in an old kitty litter container my dad painted camo for me LOL!
