We are on the Tennessee side of the Mississippi River, dead center of the of the West Tennessee border. The last few times it has rained, I have just gone on ahead and pulled up Fort Smith, AR so I can get an idea of how long it's gonna be on top of us. The whole state of Ark. has been covered the last few rains that have come across..Heck, I think we are about to break off and fall into the Muddy Mississippi and float south before long because of all the rains coming from the west ! It's just down right gross around here !!
my hunt
I needed a boat. I sure am glad i can call my dogs back if I cant get to them. 2 drops that ended behind water. The coons caught a break from my ruger.

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY !!
Sure wished I could get out and enjoy it, but I am sicker than sick from getting out in the rain to take care of farm and kennel chores the last two stinking weeks !! ARG !!!!!
Oh well, the warmth of the sunshine beaming in my bay window while I get some rest in my recliner will have to do me for now..
Had a friend just call asking where i thought we might go tree a couple and i told him right there in the recliner looking at a bloodlines book or looking at the back of your eyelids ! It Really is bad here in east central Arkansas where i live, a lot of the crops have been lost, soybeans. and some of the rice still has not been cut either and calling for rain 2 or 3 days next week starting monday !
s/s
It was a beautiful day here too!! Sure hope you feel better soon. Maybe our paths will cross again some day in the coonhound world. Take care of those reds, the walker and whatever else you might have.

Rain
If keeps up i'm gonna drive back to Indiana and hunt with my buddies while my friends build an ARK! If they build it, I promise that there will be 5 great redbone's on it! May try to save a few coons, possum's and squirrels!

The bottoms are starting to dry out a little but in the hills where I live have just the right amount in the creeks. Treed several over the last few weeks and I have seen several on the roadways! I guess the rockies want it to stop raining as well! LOL
You need to call Mat and we'll all go tree a few! How far out are you from us?
how far
Not to far to come for a hunt! I will be in touch soon. If the water goes down we have some buddy hunts coming up it should be fun yall should come.

I feel yalls pain. I havent been hunting in a week or so cause of the water. I guess i'll buy me and my hounds sum goggles and swimming flippers and try hunting that way.

It just started sprinkling here. Thunder storms expected after midnight and 100% rain tomorrow !! DANG IT !!
