Where wolves have been introduced there has been improvement in the regional environment directly attributed to them in many cases. In Yellowstone people thought they'd kill of all the elk or diminish their numbers and that has not been the case, yet other animals have made recoveries post wolf introduction, and there has even been plant species recovery tied to it.

I can't see the picture on my computer right now, but I'm assuming it's a real wolf and not a stuffed animal.

I was raised that as a hunter it's partially my responsibility to take care of the environment, and the area I operate in

Part of me is skeptical that this photo is not monkeyed with. There have been so many huge wild hogs and other pictures of giant animals posted that my first reaction is, 'yeah right'. If that is real I sure hope he had all the papers and permits from the provincial authorities. That would be one to have the taxidermist do a full body mount. The wolves we have in MN and out west do need to have their numbers kept to a level where they are capable of keeping their genetics healthy but not so many as to see or run into them on a regular basis. There's were the argument is, what is that number? Wilderness ought to have some large wild predators otherwise it is going to have a bunch of nancies hiking in there like it is Disneyland. Big predators keep the granolies from having a population explosion. LOL
