Its in Eastern Tn so most of it is hills. But to most flatlanders some of those hills could be mtns.

HOBO is right to some people used to hunting flat land some of these hills might look like mountains, but ask the people from the mountains and they will tell you it's nothing. Most all the guides we will be using know what it takes to win hunts and have places to hunt that usually keep you out of the steep stuff. Sometimes as everyone knows it dosen't always work out as planed' but for the most part everyone will be hunting creeks and rolling ridges. The coon population looks good so far and the kittens are not out yet of course. The last hunt at Hawkins County Coon Club drew 42 dogs and a total of 38 coons were seen for an average of 3.1 coon per cast. Don't let the pictures and the names of the places scare you off. Come on down to our next event April 11 and see for yourself what the area is like.

the folks at rogersville have several guides that have good huntin and a good coon population so it probably wont be too bad. but if it gets too steep call me an ill go to your dog for only $10 a tree. ha ha

i recently drove 8 hours to tennesse for two reasons the first reason was to visit some friends of mine, and the second was to qualify peanut for the 2009 world championship, i hunted int he livingston rqe and was fifth place , with 175 + , it will take a different type of hound to win the world hunt this year and it will take alot of dedication and heart to even have the opportunity to be there in the end, it is beautiful country and the people are amazing , there coon population is nothing compared to the north but they do have coon, if you have a dog that gets deep and split , i can assure you that you will have a coon treed but the question is can you hear him and can you get to him, i can assure i will have to be in better shape before the finals haha

I also hunted the RQE in Livingston. I have been there for the last several years and from what I have seen the area here around Rogersville is not as rough as it is there and we have a better coon population
