Winning Blueticks?????

I have a friend that I can't convince to buy a walker. He swears he needs a Bluetick. What line of blues are winning at the hunts? Breeders???

i'd say your friend has good taste. don't know about winning but i hunt a smokey river/spanky cross and he gets the job done.

I'm glad your friend likes Blueticks instead of reject fox dogs ,there are top dogs in most lines.I prefer Smokey River dogs.Look up Bakers Mosquito Creek Stinger on the Bluetick site Stinger is making some good ones

B&D Blueticks

B&D's Blue Spike and Wild N Blue Lou seems to be a good cross. Both number one on producing list, and I've seen one real nice one out them.

i hunted blues since he 60's until i started comp hunting in 2000. i have not found a good comp blue. but i have spent over 50,000 trying. just dont believe there are many out there. i just put three more in the bone pile yesterday. im taking a rest on them for a little while.
the best i drew at a hunt is steal trap in tenn. he is casterated and i think out of jet 6 COONDOG

I like the wipeouts the best just wish they where blue

Blues are doing the best here. I know for a fact the best Blue pups out there today is out of GranNiteCh Manns' Wild-N-Blue POUNDER. I've yet to see a cull and they are winners. Call Mackie Manns up he would be glad to help your friend find one. They start easy and are natural. Like walker dogs they are consistant.

Been hunting Bluedogs for over fourty years, and have really enjoyed them. I have 2 rooms full of trophies.
Right now I like Double Springs Bodacious crossed with a Smokey River female.
Last week end I won second place with an eleven month old male from that kind of cross.
We also have a female out of Double Springs Echo III and a Smokey River female. Very nice coondog. She is already a Dual Champion. We just breed her to Bodacious. Pups will be double line breed, cousin to cousin. We are hoping for a good cross.

Check with Kelly Littlejohn in Longview, TX. I have hunted with Kelly and his dogs for many, many years. His old Dual Grand Champion Arkie dog died several years ago and his Dual Grand Champion Rock dog just died a few months ago. Kelly has a lot of his old blood coming up now. He can put you in touch with several good blueticks out of his stock. You won't be disappointed.

i would try to buy a pup from CH GRNITECH 'PR' Blue Creek Gauge, owned by Danny Glista, he is winning some hunts, and is a young dog, but more over we are all hearing about his pups and how they are doing. He just had a pup become a NiteCh, and i believe he will have many more to come
