Daytona 500

Glad to see the win go to Rousch driver Matt Kennseth.

My ? is If Dale Jr is the most popular driver in Nascar than why is it ok for him to get away with wrecking another driver and lie about it and nothing is done. None of the announcers wanted to admit it was his fault, a couple did but I bet they will be in trouble with Nascar officials for talking bad about there Boy Jr. Most any other driver would have been fined or penalized for what he done but not Jr.


EVERYONE KNOWS JEFF GORDON IS THE BEST DRIVER OUT THERE TODAY!!!!!!

everyone knows dale sr. was the best there ever was and ever will be, but since he is gone dale jr. is at the top in everyone eye. jeff gordon is good, he has to be he would follow dale sr. around the track every race for years. ha ha

Sort of wished they could have raced to the end and not ended the way it did.
I sort of have to say that I don't think it was all Dale JR's fault for the wreck, he got cut off twice on a run and that is what happens when you try blocking a faster car. JMO

Was very dissapointed that they didnt race the whole race. I felt liek they could have given it some more time before they called the race. As far as the dale jr. wreck goes the blame is on vickers, he blocked and got bit for it. I am by no means a dale jr. fan but it wasnt his fault!

Vickers lost a lot of respect in my book. Jr. does need to take some of the blame but Vickers needs to quit crying and blaming it all on Jr. when he ran him below the line. Like Jr. said in his interview, when somebody's got that good of a run you just have to let em go.

jr need to take part of the blame !!!!! thats b/s vic tryed to block and got bump for it .. jr was a lap down and trying to get back on the lead lap so why did vic try to block hummmmmmmmmm he needs the fine..

Vickers wrecks somebody every other week and then he cries about getting bumped when he first off ran the 88 in the grass!! Watch and see Vickers will either wreck or wreck somebody next week. I was glad to see Jr bump him, I hated it took out some good cars but he needs to get a little more aggresive. I sure miss Dale SR.

Vickers is an idiot....but they should make a rule that Daytona 500 is the one race that cant be shorted....all the hype and that ending just stinks....nobody was really where they were running all day....just my 2 cents...

All of you big JR supporters should be proud of your boy he took out alot of good cars and showed his inmaturity, that is the reason he wont win the cup again. If he was half the driver as his dad I would be a fan.

vickers didnt go below the yellow line,he just blocked jr and the win woulda went to kyle busch if this didnt happen,but oh well,my nascar season is over,daytona is the only one worth watching and it sucked altogether!!

I sure don't think Jr. would have done that on purpose either. His team mates were behind him. Good way to get the boss p!ssed.

Both guys a lap down. Why would Vickers block like that when someone had a fast run. Im sure he wanted the lucky dog pass too.

Blocking is what killed Sr, so no I don't think Jr. did that intensional knowing what could happen!

Like everyone else the race sucked!

I'm not a Jr. fan either, but I would say Vicker's is at much fault as Jr. Jr. had a strong run and was blocked multiple times and when you have a strong run sometimes you have to let the other go. I think Vicker's was still a little upset that Jr. got his ride from Hendricks Racing. JMO... Oh yeah, I am hoping for a 4th for Johnson as well. He is a good driver and uses his head and doesn't do these things for people to talk bad about him.

Either way the Harley J. Earl trophy is coming to Wisconsin!
