!!! Pleasure Hunt @ Autumn Oaks !!!

!! THANKS elvis !!
Guys, I was so lucky to get to pleasure hunt a couple nights @ AO with some great guys & the location was to die for. When I posted on this site 2 weeks ago for someone to guide me & some guys from UTAH, I recieved several offers & I wish we could have hunted more, but just was time-restraned.MARV SCHMUCKER (elvis) contacted me & said come on up to PERU & hunt with him & Brian Whitted with UKC World Ch. Janice Joplin & AKC World Ch. Gabby. We had a great hunt, treeing several coons & saw some great dogs perform. Robert Raxter & Mojo went Sat. night & Janice & Mojo performed like the champions they are. But the best part was getting to meet these guys along with Russ Bellar. The Utah guys were Dave Marshall, CEO & Robert Bagley, Market Director, from MARSHALL RADIO TELEMETRY along with Dennis Messer, Pro Team. They enjoyed the tour & talking to Russ Bellar about his coonhunting accomplishments. The hospitality & fellowship experienced with these guys was awesome & we will never be able to thank them enough. Needless to say, this was the highlite of my trip to AO

Sounds like

you had one heck of a time with some real nice gentlemen with a lot of coon hunting knowledge under their belts. Glad you got to hunt with these fine hounds and their owners. Congrats and take care. Nice pic as well.

I dont hunt very many nite hunts anymore and the reason why is very simple. I would much rather pleasure hunt with guys like David Webb and the fellows he brought with him from Marshal Telemetry.
We played around with their system a bit and were impressed to say the least. The competition had better get on their toes because these guys are serious about being the best and I expect great things to come from them in the future. They are a class act.
I was also very impressed with Robert Raxter. A true gentleman with a fine hound. Mojo treed a few coon for us in style.

It was just a very enjoyable weekend of coonhunting and I came away feeling I had made several new friends, and that right there just cant be beat.

Hobo, you know you are welcome any time.

PLEASURE HUNT

Thanks for the replys.

MikeO, Mojo is a great young dog. I've hunted with him since he was a little pup & Raxter still won't give me any credit for training him. HaHa
We had 5 different dogs in the woods & all of them looked pretty good, usually hunting 2 @ a time.

I would also like to give a BIG THANK YOU to all the Bellar Gang!!! Mr. Bellar, Marv and Brian showed us a great deal of class in the way they made all of us feal welcome. It was nice to hunt with folks that still have fun when they turn the dogs loose and try just as hard to find a coon whether its their dog treed or someone elses. I hope that we get a chance to make it back up and hunt with these fine folks again. I would also like to thank David Webb and Marv for working together to make this hunt happen. I also would like to thank Robert Bagley and Dave Marshall from Marshall Radio for allowing me to be apart of a company that is truely trying to make a product that a hunter can depend on to last and take the abuse us hunters often put it through. It doesn't take being around Russ long and you can figure out that he wants to be the best he can be no matter what he's involved in and in my opinion he shows this by teaming up with Marv and Brian. Thanks again to everyone involved, Dennis

GREAT HUNT

Elvis,
I remember this like it was last night.
The dogs did perform great, & Mojo, Janice, & Gabby were outstanding.
My fondest memory was the hospitality & fellowship that you, your daughter, Brian, & Russ showed the guys from Utah & a couple us ole hillbilly NC boys.
I am very grateful that you was instrumental in making this happen.
David Webb
