Alabama Football!

How do you think Nick Saban is going to do with the Crimson Tide this year?

My opinion, I think he will have a winning record and have a close score if not a win to the powerhouses like Auburn and LSU. b/c he seems alot more disciplined than the last coach.

HE WILLWIN 7 OR 8 GAMES THIS SEASON. POSSIBLY WILL BEAT AUBURN BECAUSE THIS WILL BE A DOWN YEAR FOR THEM. HE MIGHT UPSET A ONE MABYE TWO OF THE ELITE TEAMS. AS FOR THE 2008-2009 SEASON, IT JUST DEPENDS ON IF SOMEONE WILL OFFER HIM MORE MONEY. I CANT BELIEVE WITH ALL THE PRIDE AND TRADITION THAT ALABAMA FOOTBALL HAS, THAT THEY WOULD GO OUT AND PAY THIS LIAR A RECORD SALARY! BUT THEN THEY DID KEEP DUBOSE AROUND LONGERM THAN ANYONE LATELY! ROFL

You mean Alabama actually HAS a football team? I thought it was just a revolving door for coaches!! How do they expect to ever have a winning season when they won't leave a coach there long enough to get HIS recruits and game plans in gear???

I believe they will get closer to 10 wins depending on the schedule.

I think Shula has assembled the talent, O-line, the most important part of the game, was very impressive last year. I don't think they lost much on a very stingy defense from last year either. I look for them to be very good this year.

Shula was to loyal, he played seniors when juniors were better, he kept assistants when they should have been replaced. He was just to warm hearted. I dont think Saban will have that problem........................

two words WAR EAGLE!!!! bama doesn't have a football team they can't leave anybody alone long enough. if they do win anything they might beat LSU or somebody like that. who knows its football and very unpredictable!! depends on how determained he is!! i don't think he will win more than 5 games at the most!

THE OFFENSIVE SIDE LOOKS GOOD,A RB WILL HAVE TO STEP UP,BIGGEST CHANGE THERE IS WE FINALLY GOT A GOOD OC AND OL COACH,BUT THE DEFENSE HAS SOME BIG TIME HOLES DUE TO RECRUITING,DL TACKLES(STARTERS AND DEPTH),LB DEPTH,AND SS/FS.

his measuring stick will be in Athens GA. He'll beat the ones he is supposed to, but then its the Georgias, Floridas, Tenn. and LSU he will fall too. Not sure he plays them all, but i know game 4 of our season is with them. SEC east is where the beast feast. Roughest division in the toughest confrence in football.

if he has any discipline (which he does) he is more disciplined then the last one was... they fired price, (i know what he did and it was wrong) but he was the best one they have even looked at in a LONG time.. he would have been winning there now

I'm looking forward to this season.Don't expect a SEC title but am looking forward to seeing something new/different.I thought Shula was a good guy just not that good of a coach.Plenty of talent on offense last few years and could move the ball down field but never seemed to get in the endzone.Expect Jimmy Johns to have a good season now he has a chance to start.The real test will be the stretch when we have Arkansas,Georiga,Florida State.That will be an early season test.I say 8-4 this year.
