Moving to NC

We are thinking about moving to North Carolina and are wondering how the hunting is down there. Any help on this would be appreciated.

on mapquest there are 2 locations fo richlands. 1 is in the MOUNTAINS and the other is near the COAST. both have rough terrain. central NC has the best terrain for hunting

The one closer to the coast. I lived there for two years and enjoyed it and would like to move back some where close to there.

I have to agree with STAGGCREEK, Hunting is much better/easier down towards the coast. In the county I live, hunting spots are in short supply. But 30 min North of me(Ashe Co.) plenty of land if your a mountain goat, LOL. 30 min. south of me great hunting (nice flat land to hunt and plenty of coons).

I hunt Walkers. The dog Mike Jones offers at stud was a dog I sold as a 4 year old, after I got messed up on military freefall jump. Most of my dogs go back to Old Clover, Flag, Finely River & Preacher. How soon are you thinking about moving out?

COUNTRYGIRLCOONIN, WE MIGHT HAVE A LOT OF LAND DOWN TOWARD THE COAST BUT I CAN GUARANTEE THAT THE TERRAIN IS 10 TIMES TOUGHER THAN IN THE CENTRAL OR WESTERN PART OF THE STATE. GREENBRIARS & SWAMPS IS WHAT YOU GET TO LOOK FORWARD TO DOWN HERE. DON'T GET ME WRONG WE HAVE SOME GOOD HUNTING BUT THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE IS TO GET YOU A GOOD SHARP MACHETE. YOU WILL NEED IT.
