If you could live and hunt anywhere you wanted.. Where would it be??

Now dont pick Hawaii just cause the weather sucks about everywhere right now.. Honestly, If you could make a living and live anywhere you wanted with good hunting and fishing, where would you pick?? Maybe a place with thick coon and good lakes, wide open spaces ,no traffic, lots of good country to hunt, or would you just stay where you are.. Name the place you would pick and tell the reason why.......

a

id live in a place called cookson hills, is in eastern ok right near the illinois river a little bit up stream from tallequa ok, the land is owned by a childrens home its about 1000 acers, i used to live at the childrens home there when i was a rebelious youngin about 16 years ago or so. there were more coon and deer runnin back in them hollers than a man could kill. i still go huntin there when im passin through to go to tulsa to visit the folks. last time i was there i treed 6 in about 2 hours or so. i only get to hunt there every couple years or so, so when i do its a good time and apperently no one else hunts it or mabey they dont let anybody hunt it i dont know but when i do its like virgin woods and coon dont know how to get away seems like there easy to tree.

Right here in central Iowa. All the coon, deer, rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and firewood I could ask for. Run out of fossil fuel tomorrow and I would be the happiest man on earth.

Missouri

good timber, corn fields and county roads that pretty much square of a section of woods. Most farmers dont mind you hunting if you ask. A little politeness can go a long long way. Also cattle and hog farms make good drop hunts.

Of all the places I have hunted. I still like it here at home. If I had to move though, I would pick Boone IA, or Miami OK.

Always liked the hunting around Boone, and those Pecan Groves around Miami are hard to beat.

I like it here because we still have some huge sections of river bottems left. The ones that are 4 or 5 miles square. Never liked hunting in 1 mile square sections. Way to many roads for me.

Of coarse right now any place warm looks pretty good.

Probably migrate a little more north like In. or Iowa. Little flatter and more coons.
