Seeing as how yet another year goes by with Walker dominence at the World, what Walker lines do you suggest when the Blue Crew( not reffering to those Northren bluetickers,just tickers in genral) converts?

Try ya some of these pups. We have already started taking them one at a time to the woods with us on short turn outs. They are not sticking around under our feet either, Plus they are pretty !! LOL...

Clover and wipeout are two really good choices. It gives a pretty good chance of getting mouth and accuracy. I may try a Zeb again female later myself.

I'm with Richard on this one but I don't think you have to throw the blues under the bus just yet. My son took first with a walker he's been huntiing for a guy out of Wis. last night. Thats two seconds and a first with the gyp. Problem is the last couple of times he hunted with my sorry old blue dog he got schooled. I keep telling him to keep score with a rifle and he'll have better dogs but he still don't see the light. And my old mutt is out of big game stock, why back in his pedigree he's even got some of the dreaded hammer blood.

14 of the final 16 in ukc world were walkers.
15 of the final 16 were walkers in akc world.

Can someone tell me why blueticks do good on the Purina race. Can a blind sow find an acorn once in a while but it takes a bluetick to find one just about every night.

very few find it practical or feasable to run purina.
my hat is off to those that do,but will those of you who have ran a full year in the purina race and not lost a pile of money doing so,please step forward.
we wont even mention wearing out a pickup truck.
